From April 7th April to May 1st 2018 at Sala delle Compere inside Genoa Palazzo San Giorgio, the exhibition Baglietto, a dream on the sea will take place. It is based on idea of the architect Emanuela Baglietto, daughter of one of the latest owners of the shipyard Pietro Baglietto. She is also a partner architect of Renzo Piano Building Workshop. The exhibition wants to tell the history of the shipyard.
Baglietto Shipyard was founded in 1854, building small boats and its first motor and sailing boats. Then, after gainingsome records and awards from Regattas will arrive and, step by step, Baglieto became one of the most important and famous italian Shipyards.
The exhibition will be open from Tuesday till Sunday from 10am to 7pm.
On April 6th there will be the opening ceremony, reserved to sponsorship, partners and guests.
