On October 18th, "Bio On Board", the initiative organized by Marina Genova in collaboration with AIAB Liguria (Italian Association for Organic Agriculture) successfully started, with the aim of presenting Ligurian organic products to the chefs of the Superyachts moored at Marina Genova.
The initiative makes part of the project "Il Bio Va In Porto" supported by Regione Liguria with the purpose of breaking down the barriers between small producers and yachting industry by creating new market opportunities for organic farms and food companies.
"Bio On Board" is a confirmation of the important role that Marina Genova "the Superyacht Marina Village" has been playing for years as a preferential access to Liguria. "Bio On Board" is promoting the Ligurian territory and its products thanks to a rich program of initiatives.
The first appointment at Marina Genova was a success with a tasting and a presentation of organic companies to the chefs.
"Bio on Board" will continue its initiative with two other meetings: a show cooking on how to cook a menu based on organic products at the Agribistrot of Macelli 44 in Genoa (November 2nd); and at Marina Genova (November 15th) a contest among Supeyacht chefs for the best recipe entirely made with organic ingredients provided by AIAB Liguria.
