Opened in 1908 by Emanuele Giacalone, it was refurbished and decorated by his son Italo in 1922, it has been owned by FAI (Italian Environment Fund) since 1992. The shop is furnished by glass panels, simple white tiles, coloured crystal glass, appliques, vintage washbasins and chairs: this is a unique and very elegant shop interior, halfway between the Liberty and Art Deco styles.
