It has been in business since 1899 and was moved to these premises in 1922. It used to sell silk, luxury fabrics and underwear, then branched out and started selling clothing designed by prestigious labels. In 1939, the renovation project was entrusted to Fausto Saccorotti; whereas counters, shelves, mirrors and fittings were made in Deco style by Alberto Issel.
