MARINA GENOVA CONFIRMS ITS ROLE AS INTERNATIONAL SUPERYACHT PLAYER AT MONACO YACHT SHOW

Genoa, 18 September 2019 – From 25 to 28 September 2019, Marina Genova is attending the Monaco Yacht Show, one of autumn’s most highly anticipated international events in the boating sector and market.

The Monaco Yacht Show is an important showcase for Marina Genova, the marina resort which is a true benchmark in international yachting: as an home port throughout the year and, during the season of big charter and yacht and super yacht summer cruises, as an exceptional boating centre among the most beautiful destinations in the Mediterranean (where a stopover in Portofino is a must, with Marina Genova’s convenient, efficient holding area for the coveted slot lying only 22 nm West).

Marina Genova is, in fact, one of Mediterranean’s finest boating centres, among the very few capable of offering hospitality to Super Yachts of up to 130 meters in length, with higher standards of service for meeting all customer needs, and careful attention afforded to the leisure time of crews, captains and owners and confirms the new appointments for the season to come.

“Involvement and taking care of crews and owners has always been our strong point. We organise unique, and, above all, authentic activities, events and experiences throughout the year to promote the city and the surrounding area.” Giuseppe Pappalardo, Chief Executive Officer of the company managing Marina Genova, S.S.P. Società Sviluppo Porti Srl, announced: “We are already taking care of preparations for the fourth edition of XMaster-The Superyacht masters get-together, that brings together yacht captains, brokers and international industry influencers at the end of the season each year to discover the hidden treasures offered by Genoa, the yachting capital with a long sailing tradition. The coming edition will be in support of  projects devised by Blue Marine Foundation, an association already known internationally for its commitment to safeguarding and protecting the marine environment, a matter dear to Marina Genova and at the very basis of the green commitment which it is implementing through important, concrete initiatives.”

“In April 2020, after its successful first edition, SeaYou Yacht Sales and Charter Days will be back with two days of visits on yachts of 18 to 80 metres and over , which are on sale or available to charter, with collateral events for brokers, captains and crew as well as informative talks increasingly more focused on the sustainability of yachting.” – concluded Pappalardo.

Based in Genoa, in an area which is highly integrated with the local territory, Marina Genova offers super and mega yachts logistics beyond compare (international airport: 2 minutes away), specialist expertise (the widest range of refit & repair shipyards), and strategic positioning (in the middle of the luxury triangle of Portofino, Portocervo, and Saint Tropez).

Specifically, Marina Genova offers more than 500 berths, of which 100 for Super and Mega Yachts of up to 130 metres, the largest fuelling docks (both duty paid and duty free) in the Mediterranean (100m and 150m), a shipyard area for all ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, shipping agencies and several other services dedicated to superyachts, restaurants, hotels, businesses and initiatives intended for ship owners, guests and crews.

Marina Genova will attend the Monaco Yacht Show at stand JL7 Jetée Lucciana.
